CCIR Response to MMP Problem

Please know the truth about my personal role and CCIR's role in this Minuteman Project (MMP) scenario before you condemn us.
I've been on the MMP Board of Directors since it first began. Just as with CCIR and every non-profit organization, it is the responsibility of every Board member to insure the organization is in compliance with the law as this is a matter of public trust.
As to my role as a Board member, I had no choice but to take a position with the other Board members committed to these same principles.
As Jim and all Board members are aware, I personally have never asked for a penny from MMP and have donated hundreds of my own dollars to MMP efforts. Add to that, both I personally and CCIR have consistently supported Jim and MMP with our time, effort, energy and financial support.
I believe that Jim Gilchrist is a courageous patriot and a man of honor and integrity. However, I know that he was deceived, misled and HIS name and MMP were "used" by some others for THEIR own personal gain.
Documented data indicates that certain business transactions were made without Jim being advised of the legalities involved and without knowledge or approval of the MMP Board members. I consider Jim a victim of those who have actually betrayed his trust.
It is our hope that Jim will carefully review the data provided, reverse his position, join us who support HIS commitment to the "rule of law", realize that our only goal is to protect HIS good name, insure the integrity of HIS Minuteman Project and reassure accountability to the great patriots who support it.
Be advised that regardless of the results of this current problem, CCIR is still committed to the great national Minuteman movement that Jim initiated and we will continue our support of those brave patriots who risk their lives to secure our borders.
We owe this to Jim, the Minuteman Founder, who is not only a national but international icon of American patriotism, but all those dedicated groups and individuals who follow his lead and continue to work tirelessly to save our beloved America.
